A beautiful Wedding at International community church

It was a perfect fall day for a wedding in Frederick. Throughout the day I captured small moments that, to me, really embodied what goes into a day like this. The family and sense of community that surrounded Ashley and Nathan on this day was so beautiful to witness. It was especially sweet to learn that they met at this very church years ago when their best man, Devon, introduced them to each other. Soon after they went on their first date to see the movie: Ant-Man and the Wasp, both nervous and excited about what was in store for them.

Fast forward to now, it is clear that they have found home in each other. The ceremony was beautiful and officiated by their loved ones. It was evident that their union was a product of not only the love they had for each other, but the love that was poured into them by their family and community. After the ceremony was over and the family photos were done you could see that they were glad to finally spend a moment alone with each other for their own portraits, basking in the first moments of being married. The newlyweds were received by their family and loved ones in a beautiful space, decorated as a labor of love from a family member. They danced to “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last and were celebrated with heartfelt toasts from both sides of the family. The night drew to a close with the newlyweds leaving in their getaway Mustang, the perfect ending to a love filled day.

Ashley + Nathan

It was such a joy to work with you both! If your easy-going natures and playful humor with each other is any indicator of the kind of marriage you will have, I know you are in for a lifetime of happiness and fun! Wishing you both the very best.

With love,

Jen
